☯ a.d.i.d.a.d ☯ (PB)

YOOOOO 'SUP Y'ALL! Although I haven't exactly danced in competitions, or in front of anyone, really, I made up my own stage name! B-girl Mayhem. B-girling (or b-boying) is just short for breakdancing, a style of street dance. I started dancing ever since I could remember. When I was little, besides my older brother, dancing was the only friend I had. My room was my playground and the music was my sun. Dancing was a way to express my feelings. I danced when I was sad, mad, happy, etc. You really can't control when I start dancing or not. I can't even control it! I danced in like, the most random places ever like in the grocery store, in public bathrooms and even at church.. (LOL)
Growing up I watched things like Power Rangers, Pokemon, stuff like that, but a show that really caught my eye was America's Best Dance Crew. Basically groups of incredibly talented people showcased their talent on this show, competing for $100,000. My dream was to go on this show and show people how awesome my moves are, (just kidding, but I really did want to go one the show.) but they canceled it! It tore my heart to shreds.
A few inspirations for dancing would be Chachi Gonzalez, Lydia Paek, and Victor Kim. (Mostly Victor Kim ehehehe.) They inspire me to keep on dancing. Each and every one of their choreographies are phenomenal. When they dance you can feel what they're feeling. Their movement are just so precise and it hurts my heart. That's how good it is.

Brian Puspos is an example when it comes to immensely flawless work. You can feel the emotion he feels. I love how he hits every part of the song and it's just so perfect. Nowadays, people just dance or learn how to dance because of the 'swag-factor' rather than just for the passion of it. Dancing is a part of my life, which brings up the title of this blog post. a.d.i.d.a.d is really cheesy and weird, but I came up with it in like, five minutes haha. It stands for All Day I Dream About Dance.
All day, every day I dance.. but not exactly where you would expect. The only place I have to dance is my bathroom! I practice whenever I get the chance and I absolutely love it, obviously.
In conclusion I am very passionate about dancing, I have joined some Filipino Folk Dance events, but other than that, I have never showcased my talent in front of anyone.
